Brewing instructions: Golden Peony
Weigh out 2-3 grams (2tsp) of black tea leaves. Place the leaves in a teapot and fill with just below boiling (90ºC) water for 2-4 minutes. You can reuse the same leaves to steep many cups of tea. Feel free to adjust the weight of tea leaves used, water temperature and steeping time to suit your personal taste.
The black tea material for this tea comes from a 90 acre tea garden located high up in the mountains of Fu'an, Ningde, Fujian Province, China. Here, No.6 cultivar tea trees are grown at an altitude of 800m to produce white and green tea. The leaves are processed in a factory nearby in Fu'an City.
