Green tea grown in the town of Panxizhen, and processed in the nearby village of Hulin, Fuding County, Fujian Province, China. The freshly-harvested green tea, grown from tea trees of the Da Bai Cultivar, is kept in storage until late summertime. In summer, the tea leaves are transported to the city of Hengxian, Guangxi, where they are scented with young jasmine flowers.
Green tea should be ideally be brewed at a lower-than-usual temperature of 70°C for 2-3 minutes. The temperature and brewing time can be adjusted to personal preferences. The same leaves may be re-infused up to five times.
